Admission criteria for Nursery and Reception places in a Coventry City Council community school

If there are more applications than places for any Nursery and Reception classes we will use the following criteria, in the priority order 1 to 3, to decide which children we will offer places to.

Admission criteria

• Priority 1 Children who are in the care of the local authority
• Priority 2 Children who have a sibling (brother or sister) at the school when that child is due to start school.
• Priority 3 Children who live closest to the school, measured in kilometres in a straight line (as the crow flies).

You cannot appeal against decisions made about nursery places.

(Nursery is not compulsory school age and we only have limited places available so unfortunately due to overcrowding in this area we are unable guarantee your child a place.)

• 7:30am - 4:00pm 

Buddies (before and after school club) hours 

• Before school 7:30am - 8:45am 
• After school 3:30pm - 5:30pm 

held on the school site and open to all year groups including Nursery 

Nursery opening hours 

• Morning session 8:30am - 11:30am 
• Lunch 11:30am - 12:30pm 
• Afternoon session 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Additional hours charges at £6 per hours

Pricing outside funded hours.

• Morning session 8:30am - 11:30am £18 per session
• Lunch session 11.30am - 12:30pm £6 per session
• Afternoon session 12:30pm - 3:30pm £18 per session

Parent to provide nappies, wipes and creams where necessary.

If your child is accessing the lunchtime sessions, a packed lunch must be provided by parents.

Invoices are a calendar month in advance and are due on the 1st of each.  If you have not received an invoice, please contact the school office.

• Soft opening 8:45am - 8:55am 
• Registration 8:55am 
• Lunch break 12:15pm - 1:15pm 
• End of school day 3:30pm
